Being Honest about BRCA
Finding out you are a carrier of a BRCA gene can be life saving and life changing all in one. This can also mean that you will experience a vast range of complex emotions as you face up to what being a BRCA carrier actually means.

There is no one size fits all approach. I'm a fit and healthy 44yr old with two teenage boys, fast approaching the menopause and want to use this space by talking candidly about my path to a bilateral masectomy - warts and all. Hope this diary of my experience will educate and inform people on all things BRCA.
